Sonia
Meet our clinical lead, Sonia. She moved to the United States at the age of 15 from El Salvador with the dream of becoming a nutritionist. She attended San Francisco City College pursuing her dream until her sister in law suggested she work in the dental field. She went on to complete her dental assistant training in 1993 and has been with Dr. Stangeland since 2006. Sonia loves to bake, ride her bike, and spend time with her 3 boys during her free time. She is active in her local church and can often be found feeding the homeless through volunteer programs. Dr. Stangeland has participated in her philanthropy by donating toothbrushes, paste, and floss to the homeless. Sonia brings kindness and selflessness to our team and each patient she sees.
