Marissa
Meet our dental hygienist Marissa. She was Born in Indonesia then moved to Holland at age three, later then made her way to America at age eight. After graduating high school she landed a job as a plaque control therapist which introduced her to the dental field. She became a dental assistant before completing the dental hygiene program at Foothill College. Having worked for a periodontist for twenty years gave Marissa her passion for treating and preventing periodontal disease. She has been working with Dr.Stangeland since 2012 and loves to play tennis, cook, and garden. She is a huge Giants fan and loves spending time with her two beautiful dogs. Marissa brings her enthusiasm to educate our patients everyday.
